Fertility Care

Providing consultations for every stage of the fertility journey.

Pre-Conception Care

The goal of pre-conception care is to provide education around cycle tracking, healthy pregnancy behaviours, and identification of any areas of concern prior to becoming pregnant. This involves a thorough history and baseline blood tests. If there are any issues identified, it is best to address them before becoming pregnant. This is also an opportunity to complete a thorough overview of diet and lifestyle habits. It is best to start pre-conception care at least 3 months before attempting pregnancy.

Male Fertility Optimization

There is a lot of focus on women when it comes to fertility, but men account for approximately 40-50% of infertility cases. Addressing sperm health using diet, behaviour change and specific supplements can be very effective at improving sperm parameters, and therefore fertility outcomes. It takes about 3 months for us to see these changes reflected in sperm analysis.

Female Fertility Optimization

There are effective Naturopathic interventions that can help to support women experiencing conditions that impact fertility such as PCOS and endometriosis. In cases of “unexplained infertility” we can explore other possibilities that might be having an influence on your fertility, such as hormonal imbalances, immune factors and nutrient deficiencies. Interventions will also be aimed at supporting egg quality.

IUI/IVF Support

Naturopathic Medicine can be a wonderful adjunct to fertility treatments. Studies have noted improved outcomes when specific diet, supplements and lifestyle changes are combined with assisted reproductive technology.

Hormonal Support

Hormonal assessments and support can be very helpful at improving overall health, fertility and wellbeing. Hormonal imbalances can impact PMS, weight gain, fatigue, fertility, anxiety, insomnia and many other conditions. A thorough evaluation along with individualized treatments can help to mitigate these symptoms and support optimal wellbeing.
